DESCRIPTION

The Changing Dynamics of a “People Law” Practice

Many who study law practice have noted that the practice of People Law, helping individuals with their personal challenges, is now so different from business and corporate law that it might as well be considered a different type of practice entirely. This focus impacts everything from procedures and tools utilized to ways of sharing information with clients. A sound marketing strategy and use of time-saving automation tools are now required. The next predicted trend ahead for People Law is the rise of one-to-many legal service delivery methods as opposed to the traditional one-to-one consultation and delivery. But, done correctly, you can serve more clients and still have the time for the one-to-one conversations and advice that clients desire. OBA MAP Director Jim Calloway will cover concrete ideas for making your People Law practice a success, while outlining what items are dangerous to ignore.
