Genial physician Dr. Henry Jekyll has dark secrets. As his friend and lawyer Utterson investigates a potential blackmail scheme against him, a small misshapen man commits unspeakable deeds on the dark streets of Victorian London. In this horror/mystery tale, Utterson discovers a scheme to balance the light and the dark that ends not in bliss but in terrible death and destruction.
Attorneys struggle with balancing the demands of practicing law with the need to have a satisfying life aside from their profession. By looking at the tragedy of Henry Jekyll, this program explores the notion of work/life balance and the means to have a satisfying professional and personal life.

SPEAKER:
Mark S. Darrah is a Tulsa attorney with decades of general civil and estate experience. He has recently exited the retail practice of law to travel, read, write, and make music.
He is the author of A Catalogue of Common People, a collection of short essays about real people, the recipient of the 2023 Earl Sneed Award for contributions to continuing legal education, and the 2018 Carl G. and Gladys L. Herrington Distinguished Lecturer at Rogers State University.
