2025 Access to Justice Summit: Opening Plenary
University of Oklahoma College of Law Dean Anna Carpenter is one of the country's foremost legal experts on access to justice issues, having contributed to extensive research and scholarship over the current state of "lawyerless courts" and how people are left to navigate them. She has years of experience as a professor, lawyer on behalf of marginalized people, researcher, and administrator. Her comments will ground us in the urgent needs facing Oklahoma, as well as the deep potential our community holds to reshape how we can truly access justice in our state.
