2025 Oklahoma Access to Justice Summit: The Power of Pro Bono: Participation, Coordination, and Results
Pro bono work is powerful and empowering–both for those who need legal services and those who provide them. Attorneys have a professional responsibility and ethical obligation to do pro bono work and public service. This session will explore the pro bono landscape in Oklahoma–addressing participation, coordination, and results–with a focus on how to get involved and increase access to justice for Oklahomans through pro bono efforts. Whether you’re looking for pro bono opportunities, coordinating events for others, or a law student with a spark for service, this session will motivate you to become involved in pro bono work to help bridge the justice gap, promote social good, support public interest causes, increase trust in the legal system and attorney-client relationships, expand networking opportunities, and foster personal and professional fulfillment–all while increasing access to justice in Oklahoma.
