DESCRIPTION
Civility: The Foundation of Effective Lawyering
In this highly interactive workshop, participants will explore the importance of civility in resolving disputes from the perspectives of parties, party advocates, and judges or neutrals. Considering practice scenarios, participants will learn and practice communication skills that will allow them to drive consensus and productive conversations while navigating conflicts and disagreements. Whether you’ve been practicing law for a few years or many, and no matter your practice area, you will come away with valuable tools you can immediately put to use.
