2025 Oklahoma Access to Justice Summit: AI + ATJ: Practical Applications, Quality Standards, and Responsible Implementation
This panel brings together legal practitioners and justice innovation experts to explore how artificial intelligence can responsibly expand access to justice. Panelists will share real-world applications of AI tools in legal practice, from making documents more accessible to supporting case preparation and client services. The discussion will address the critical need for expert oversight when using AI in legal contexts, practical strategies for implementation, and the importance of quality standards to ensure AI serves rather than harms vulnerable populations. Attendees—including legal aid attorneys, private practitioners engaged in pro bono work, and court personnel—will leave with actionable insights for deploying AI ethically to enhance legal research, streamline workflows, prepare self-help materials, and better serve underserved communities while maintaining professional standards.
